This is a production scene witnessed today at the newly completed foaming workshop of Nantong Hengwei Polyurethane Products Co., Ltd. The company uses advanced foreign technology to transform traditional products, improve technical content, keep products in sync with market development, and maintain the company's position in the provincial industry.
Nantong Hengwei Polyurethane Products Co., Ltd., established in 2002, mainly produces polyurethane foam series products. In recent years, with the increase in domestic and foreign manufacturers of polyurethane foam series products, some of the company's main traditional products have gradually lost their advantages in certain performance aspects compared with similar domestic and foreign products, and the market competitiveness of the products has also been affected. To ensure that the company's polyurethane foam series products can maintain long-term competitive advantages, the company established a technical task force to carry out equipment transformation and process innovation. Through technological improvements, not only has the consumption of catalysts for polyurethane foam series products been reduced, and production costs lowered, but some key Technical Indexes have also been improved, better meeting customers' new and higher requirements, thereby ensuring the product's market share. Since last year, the company has cooperated with Nanjing Chemical Research Institute to conduct research and development on deep processing and new product technologies for polyurethane foam series products, solving technical problems in product quality during the processing of polyurethane foam series products and increasing competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets. On the other hand, advanced technologies and patents from home and abroad are utilized to carry out major technological transformations. In this year's 20,000-square-meter new factory area technical transformation and expansion project, the company invested more than 10 million yuan and introduced a number of advanced patented technologies and equipment: mold rack turntable design matched with a fully automatic straight-arm injection molding machine; a single production line can install 35 sets of molds simultaneously, and 2 workers can produce 3,000 sets of finished products per day. The chain-type production rack simultaneously installs 85 sets of molds, equipped with a 6-axis articulated KUKA robot; 4 workers can produce 10,000 sets of finished products per day. The fully automated horizontal continuous foaming production line can continuously foam 80 meters on a single line, allowing the application of products to become diversified. Whether it's high-quality home furnishing sponge, sound insulation cotton, or traditional composite cotton, production can be coordinated. The application of equipment such as German fully automatic fabric cutting machines and French fully automatic fabric testing machines has improved the pass rate of finished products. In the polyurethane foaming process, the jet reaction device of Southeast University is adopted, and the circulating foaming reaction technology is developed in combination with process characteristics, which not only solves the utilization rate of material gas but also shortens the reaction time of each batch of materials, and the product quality has also been improved and enhanced. Currently, the company's products are in short supply, with orders already scheduled until March next year. From January to October, the company's taxable sales reached 50 million yuan.
